Again: a song written by Middle Earth Musician

I am wondering
When
You’ll be back
Again.
I’ve been so long
Without your voice
In my ears
I’ve almost forgotten how it sounds.

I know why you left.
Why you picked up that gun
And boarded that ship
And left me.
But I still miss you.
I’m thinking ‘bout the time
When you’ll come back
And I’ll see you again.

I wonder how you’re doing
Over there.
Have you gotten my letters?
I write to you often.
One day this war’ll be over
And we can talk face to face again.
Oh, I’m thinking ‘bout the time
When you’ll come back
And I’ll see you then
We’ll be together again.

I just heard the news
About that bomb
I heard that you saved the life
Of your best friend
By shielding him from the blast.
There’s no greater love
Than that.
I know I’ll see you again
Someday.
But it’s hard, and I’ll miss you
Here on Earth.
War tears families apart.

Oh, I’m thinking ‘bout the time
When you’ll come back
And I’ll see you then
We’ll be together again.
And I’m thinking ‘bout the time
When you’ll come back
And I’ll see you again.
We’ll be together again.
We’ll be together again.

Greetings, all!  Since Camp Nano is almost over...HOW IS IT ALREADY ALMOST THE END OF JULY???...ahem, I decided to share a little of what I've been working on this month.  Introducing,  Synopsis Eden Claire is an orphaned serving girl in England. Living her lonely life working in the library of a boarding school, she begins to think that she must always settle for less, and that her dreams of comradeship, adventure, and sailing to unknown lands must slowly dwindle away to nothing.
