Wrap Up March, Hello April!\UPDATE on Camp Nano

Greetings, all! It’s finally April!!! April is an exciting month for me. It hosts the first Camp Nano of the year, trees are staring to blossom, school’s starting to slow down, and it may or may not be my birthday in a few weeks…XD Let us look back at March, shall we? And then I will share an update on how Camp Nano’s going. ;-P March Music: Waving Through a Window sung by Ben Platt from the Broadway show Dear Even Hansen  Okay, wow. This song. Ben Platt has an AMAZING voice; and the lyrics to this song were so heartbreaking and yet it sounded like a happy, upbeat song. It’s officially on my list of favorites. <333 Main Titles from Logan by Marco Beltrami I LOVE this theme. The use of the guitar and stings makes for a really cool effect.  Hideaway by Grace Vanderwaal  I was so excited when Grace started releasing new music! This one is super fun; my siblings like to dance to it. :-)  Asgard from Thor: The Dark World b...

Wrap Up November, HELLO DECEMBER!!!

Greetings, all!  IT’S DECEMBER!!! IT’S TIME FOR CHRISTMAS AND PRETTY LIGHTS AND HOT CHOCOLATE (who am I kidding, I drink hot cocoa all year long XD) AND SNOW!!! At least, snow if you live in a place where it snows. Sorry, Australians; however, you’re welcome to some of our snow. Take as much as you need. XD Unfortunately, before I can embark on the ship of Christmasy (totally a word) blog posts, I must give an overview of my November. Rats. I can’t even remember very much of my November. Oh well, here we go. I apologize in advance for any absent-mindedness or craziness. I’m high on sugar. My mood:  Music Listened to in November Burn the Ships by for King and Country THIS SONG IS AMAZING. When Jesus Saved the World by Efisio Cross I love how this song conveys all the emotion of Jesus saving the world without any lyrics. <3 The Greatest Show covered by for King and Country  I freaked out the first time I hear...

Wrap Up October, Hello November!

Greetings All!  (ssh I totally know it's November 10th)  October has got to be my favorite month; the changing leaves, the crisp air, the gloomy days; and for us; school starting up again. There is something comforting in starting a new schedule and opening up a new school book. For me anyway. XP Not to metion the brand-new pencils…XD October’s Music The Flight of the Silverbird by Two Steps from Hell This song is so much fun to listen to! I can totally imagine a bird with a long silver tail sweeping across the sky when I play it. Darkness Keeps Chasing Me by Grace Vanderwaal  I had never heard this song of Grace’s before, but when I borrowed her album from the library I instantly fell in love with it. The cello part and her voice mash perfectly together, and don’t even get me started on the lyrics. <333   Waltz for Mary and John T his song. <333  October’s Movies: Sixth Sense This movie was AMAZI...

Even if they were taken by my mom. XD Day 1-2 Salt Lake City Sunset over the Great Salt Lake Loveland Aquarium This aquarium was AMAZING, with a shark tube, different biomes, and a 4D movie theater. The Red Butte Gardens There were art displays throughout the garden made with nothing but Legos. Wow.  In-N-Out (no pictures, sorry. we were too busy eating. XD) Day 3-4 Quail Creek Park and Zion’s National Park Wildlife at Quail Creek Reservoir  This crayfish was promptly dubbed “Craig”. XD Breathtaking Red Layers and Mile-Long Tunnels at Zion’s National Park   This was one of my favorite parts of our trip. It was so beautiful. <333 Day 5-7 The Grand Canyon Wow. Just wow. :-O  Day 8-10 ...
