Introducing My WIP: The Ship's Log

Greetings, all!

Wrap Up November, HELLO DECEMBER!!!

Greetings, all!  IT’S DECEMBER!!! IT’S TIME FOR CHRISTMAS AND PRETTY LIGHTS AND HOT CHOCOLATE (who am I kidding, I drink hot cocoa all year long XD) AND SNOW!!! At least, snow if you live in a place where it snows. Sorry, Australians; however, you’re welcome to some of our snow. Take as much as you need. XD Unfortunately, before I can embark on the ship of Christmasy (totally a word) blog posts, I must give an overview of my November. Rats. I can’t even remember very much of my November. Oh well, here we go. I apologize in advance for any absent-mindedness or craziness. I’m high on sugar. My mood:  Music Listened to in November Burn the Ships by for King and Country THIS SONG IS AMAZING. When Jesus Saved the World by Efisio Cross I love how this song conveys all the emotion of Jesus saving the world without any lyrics. <3 The Greatest Show covered by for King and Country  I freaked out the first time I hear...

My Camp Nano Project: Of Seas, Silver, and Shipmates.

Greetings, all!  Since Camp Nano is almost over...HOW IS IT ALREADY ALMOST THE END OF JULY???...ahem, I decided to share a little of what I've been working on this month.  Introducing,  Synopsis Eden Claire is an orphaned serving girl in England. Living her lonely life working in the library of a boarding school, she begins to think that she must always settle for less, and that her dreams of comradeship, adventure, and sailing to unknown lands must slowly dwindle away to nothing. Eden must outwit the notorious Damian the Black Hearted and his gang of pirates in her quest for her father’s treasure, but she cannot do it alone-she will need the help of others. Can she learn how important true friendship is, even at the cost of losing the tre...

I Finished My WIP!!!

Greetings, all! I am pleased to announce that I have officially finished my WIP, Mission: Metal!!! I’m so excited! It’s the first long story that I have ever finished. In celebration, I wanted to share some snippets, collages, and some songs that I wrote this story to with you all. Snippets * Shae smiled at the bright orange color of Archer’s message. Normally she hated the color orange, but Archer had set her comdev to show the brightest colors whenever he sent her a message. Everyone else got the darker colors; blue, green, or black. Now she was beginning to think of Archer in correlation to bright colors. * Ian nodded. “What can I do?” “Want to help me with the big gun?” Archer asked, with a twinkle of mischief in his eyes. Ian stared in disbelief. “Seriously?” He had wanted to help with the cannon ever since he had first set eyes on it, years ago. Archer had never let him. Until now. Archer nodded. “Sure; I do need an assistant.” Ian got up and salu...

An Update on Life=Braces, LotR, and a New WIP

Greetings, all! It seems like it’s been ages since I last posted! I always forget how crazy the post-holiday season is; catching up on school and sickness leave little time for blogging. Anyways, I’m back from my unexpected hiatus with a couple of updates and some exciting news: I GOT BRACES!!! Apparently, I was supposed to get them sooner (according to the orthodontist) but at least I have them now, and they already making a difference in my smile. I also got a palate expander which is making life…interesting…to say the least. I can’t talk right or eat right with the expander. I’m hoping I only have to have it in for a little while longer. Another exciting thing that happened last week was that my brother and I got to go see The Return of the King in a theater!!! There’s an old opera house near me that was turned into a movie theater where they only show classic movies such as Indiana Jones, Harry Potter, It’s a Wonderful Life (we went and saw that in December), Ho...

My Collages and Aesthetics

Greetings, all! I enjoy making picture collages, and I thought I would share a few with you. :-) DISCLAMER: These pictures in the collages are not my own and I do not take credit for any of them except the fourth one. I did take that picture. :-) I did create the collages however. Please give credit where credit is due.  This is an aesthetic I made for myself. It’s based on things I like and my personality. Here is one I made for Princess Leia from Star Wars: Tauriel is one of my FAVORITE fictional characters of all times, so I made one for her. This was based off a random spurt of inspiration that came into my mind one afternoon. Here is one for the women in some of my favorite fandoms: My newest collage is an aesthetic for Malcolm, my superhero kid from my new WIP, Defying Apples. Soooooo...let's talk! Do any of you enjoy making picture collages? Do you have any ideas of collages for me to make? Please tell me in the co...
